서울권 외국인학교 대학 입시 결과 비교

서울권 외국인학교인 SFS 서울외국인학교, SIS 서울국제학교, KIS 한국외국인학교, YISS 서울용산국제학교, KKFS 켄트외국인학교, APIS 아시아퍼시픽외국인학교, Dwight 드와이트외국인학교 졸업생들의 대학 입시 결과를 비교해보았습니다.

 

 

본 비교의 장단점과 한계

이 비교의 장점은, 서울권의 외국인학교를 졸업하면 어느 대학으로 진학하거나 합격을 받을 가능성이 높은지 패턴이 보인다는 겁니다.

 

단점은 학교별로 합격한 학교를 다 리스트업 한 학교가 있는 반면, 어떤 학교는 자랑하고 싶은 대입결과만 리스트 한 것 같아서 정말 비교가 불가능했다는 것입니다.

 

또한 각 학교별로 합격한 대학교를 집계한 년도가 조금씩 달라서 완전 공정한 비교는 불가능했습니다.

 

이러한 한계가 있음에도 불구하고, 이렇게 딱 대고 학교별 대입결과를 비교한 글이 없어서 이 포스팅은 나름 필요하신 분들에게 도움이 될 것이라고 생각합니다.

 

 

Findings

제가 이 표를 만들면서 파악한 것은 다음과 같습니다.

 

• 켄트 외국인학교의 대입 결과가 제일 떨어진다.
• 빅4 (SFS, KIS, YISS, SIS)만 하버드 진학에 성공했다.
• 대체로 미국 대학에 많이 지원하고 합격을 받는다.

 

컬러 코딩 결과

그 외 서울의 외국인학교를 졸업한 학생들이 많이 진학한 학교는 다음과 같습니다.

너무 대학교들 리스트가 길어져서 4개 이상 외국인학교가 합격자를 배출한 대학교만 솎아냈습니다.

 

표에서 진한 노란색 > 연한 노란색 > 보라색 순으로 표시해서 어떤 학교에 합격을 많이 받았는지 한눈에 파악이 가능합니다.

그 외에 서울대학교, 옥스포드 대학교처럼 넘사벽 학교로 합격한 경우에도 노란색으로 표시했습니다.
